East Surrey MP, Peter Ainsworth, will attend a public meeting this Saturday (1 March) which will give constituents the opportunity to air their views over the proposed closure of the Post Offices on Balcombe Road and Station Road East.
The meeting will take place at Oakwood School on Balcombe Road in Horley and begin at 12.30. Also attending will be local Councillor Mike Miller, and a representative from Post Office Ltd.
Peter said:
“I am very much looking forward to what I hope will be a fruitful meeting. Post Office closures strike a chord with local residents and this will be a great way for them to air their opinions.”
He went on to say:
“I’m delighted Post Office Ltd has agreed to send a representative to the meeting. The final decision on closure lies in their hands, and I encourage all residents with a vested interest in Balcombe Road and Station Road East to attend and have their voices heard.”
