Monday, 29 June 2009 12:12

Warlingham is south of the London Borough of Croydon. It is centred around the village green where there is a variety of shops and services. All Saints' Church dates from the 13th century and is believed to be where the book of Common Prayer was used for the first time, in a service attended by Archbiship Cranmer.

Chelsham itself consists of a common, school and a number of scattered houses.

Farleigh is a small hamlet near the district boundary with Croydon and contains a number of houses, farms and the Grade I listed St Mary's Church of Norman origin.
