Commenting on the news that Tandridge Leisure has had to withdraw its children play facility, The Arc, from its current location in Caterham, Mr Ainsworth commented:

“I very much regret the news that the Arc in Caterham has been forced to close. Whilst it is encouraging to note that Tandridge Leisure wish to continue providing existing community based services elsewhere, it seems a great shame that such a fine facility should be left empty. I am aware of the concern and disappointment which this news has caused in the local community and am liaising with those involved in the hope that a long term solution can be found.”
