Commenting on the news that NCYPE – the Lingfield-based children’s epilepsy charity – has had to make staff reductions, Mr Ainsworth said:

“It is a matter of great regret that NCYPE is having to reduce staff numbers as a result of the recession. I welcome the fact that, so far, there have been no forced redundancies.

“NCYPE is not only a major local employer but also a vital provider of services to vulnerable young people – the key task is to maintain and grow those services for the long term.”
