East Surrey MP, Peter Ainsworth, last night launched the new Conservative Environment Network (CEN) to promote green thinking.

CEN’s mission is to advocate solutions to environmental problems that are consistent with conservative principles and bring together the people who share this goal.  Furthermore, the aim is to “fight the good fight” within the conservative movement, making the case that climate change and other environmental issues are critically important and need to be tackled by effective government policy, private enterprise and Britain’s entrepreneurial spirit.
